Obituary

Laurel "Lorrie" Cooper, 76, December 15, 2022; beloved wife and best friend of Ed for 49 3/4 wonderful years; loving mother of Alan and Kevin; devoted grandmother of Nathan and Alyssa; much loved sister of Gary Ravitz and dear friend to all who knew her. Lorrie was known for her sense of humor, she loved the challenge of a good puzzle of any kind and had a passion for reading, especially mystery novels, she could finish 5 - 6 novels a week. Her greatest joy was her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory can be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation, www.glioblastomafoundation.org, would be greatly appreciated. Chapel service, Monday, December 19, 2022, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
