Obituary

Mrs. Lauraine Polashuk died April 6, 2021, at Erickson Living at Charlestown. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald (Dan) Polashuk, her father Dr. Isidore and her mother Jeannette Blum Levy, and her sister, Dorothy Levy Trosch. She is survived by her brother Dr. Jay Levy and his Family, and all the beloved Blums.

Lauraine said that her major contribution to society was the creation of geriatric music therapy by playing appropriate piano music. Harry Citron was her mentor and splendid role model. Primarily, Lauraine worked at Levindale, Roland Park Place and Keswick.

Services are private. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to Beth Tfiloh Congregation to honor the memory of Rabbi Samuel Rosenblatt.
