Adored sister of Denise (Mebea Aklilu) and Karen (Todd) Matros. Dear daughter in law of Barbara and Harry. Fond sister in law of Sue. Devoted aunt of Caleb and Helen Aklilu, Noah and Emma Matros, and Rachel Kennedy. Lara was the Vice President, Legal, R&D, Alliance Management & Transactions, at AbbVie Inc. Service Sunday, 1PM at Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, 1201 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. Interment Memorial Park.
