Obituary

Julius L. Simon, age 99, of Morton Grove, retired electrical engineer, served honorably in the US Army during WWII; beloved husband of the late Tobie, nee Minkus; loving father of Ellen (Bruce) Lindemann, Dr. William (Cheryl Chamberlain) Simon, and Dr. Michael (Leslie) Simon; adored Gramps of Carla Lindemann, Andrea (Stuart) Bern, and Mark Lindemann, Tyler, Brendan, and Nicolette Chamberlain-Simon and Alexander and Abby Simon; devoted son of the late Samuel and the late Bessie Simon; cherished brother of the late Ruth Mina; treasured uncle and friend to many. Julius was the true patriarch of his family. He was a loving and caring soul, who treated everyone like they were family. Also, he was a life-long White Sox fan. Graveside service Friday, 3:00 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Section Gardenia, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
