Obituary

Dr. Joseph Morgan, 82 of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020

Dr. Morgan was born in Paris, France to Leo and Bessie Morgan on October 23, 1938. A hidden child during WWII, he emigrated to the United States in 1950. Joe graduated from Roosevelt HS and received both his undergraduate and his Degree in Dentistry from the University of Illinois. Dr. Morgan was a Captain in the USAF. After receiving his honorable discharge, he practiced dentistry in the Chicagoland area for 45 years. In his free time, Joe pursued many interests, including fishing, golfing, skiing, drawing, reading, cooking and traveling. He shared these pursuits with friends and family. Those who were lucky enough to spend time with Joe appreciated his wonderful sense of humor, his willingness to share himself with others and his warm and welcoming manner. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Marsha Morgan nee Stock of Delray. Loving father of Robin (William) Levy and Steven (Tamara) Morgan. Cherished Papa Joe of Mitchell Levy, Dana Levy, Mara Levy, Carly Morgan, Brooke Morgan and Jaclyn Morgan. Dear brother of Dr. Jack Morgan (Susan) and Lana (Gary) Sternberg. Loving uncle, cousin and friend of many. Joe was a warrior, surviving the Holocaust as a hidden child, and fighting his battle with leukemia for 30 years. He never let his issues define him. He led a full and blessed life with his cherished wife Marsha by his side. He will be greatly missed. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the interment service will be private.
