Obituary

Jeffrey Alan Hoppenstand, 72 of Skokie, passed away Tuesday morning at Evanston Hospital after a prolonged battle with lung and brain cancer. Jeff spent most of his life in Skokie with his parents Blanche and Hye, and his sister Hildy and (David z''l).
He is survived by his two sisters Hildy Lieberman (of Skokie) and Fern Loory (Joshua of Longwood, FL), nephew Matthew Loory (of Orlando, FL) and niece Ilana Loory (of Columbia, SC). Jeff was an avid collector of baseball cards and coins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NorthShore Hospital at Evanston Palliative Care Fund, northshore.org. Graveside service, Wednesday, 1 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
