Obituary

Jan Michael Simon, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, July 18th, 2021 at the age of 68. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Eric Yospe, his niece Allyson Yospe, and by his companion Nancy Heil. He is also survived by his many loving cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bernice (nee Herman) and Julius Simon.

Jan was a lover of animals and acted as a caretaker to many neighborhood animals as well as his own.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 at 10:00am. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Covenant Guild Inc., c/o Maxine Gordon, 1 High Stepper Court, Apt. 604, Pikesville, MD 21208 or Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. The family will be in mourning at 307 Chalk Hill Drive, Baltimore, MD 21208. Shiva will be Tuesday following the cemetery with a 6:45pm service Tuesday night, and Shiva on Wednesday from 12-4pm with no service.
