Halpern, age 95, of Highland Park and Dixon, Owner/Operator of McDonald’s Restaurants for 46 years in Dixon and surrounding communities; beloved husband and best friend for 74 years of Iris, nee Koppel; loving father of Bonnie (Jim) Malow, Charna Halpern, and Nancy (Chuck) Plock; adored grandpa of Stacey (Keri) Malow-Williams, Dayna (Scott Burns) Malow, Brad (Dr. Aron Janssen) Malow, Matt (Carisa) and Steven Plock, Jordyn (Scott) Fenwick; extra special Papa Jack of Dillon, Jaxson, Harper, Levi, Blakely, and Arlyn.
