Obituary

Dr. Irvin M. Krawitz, of Towson, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Getz Krawitz; children, Nancy Ellin (Juan Marquez) and Marsha (Dr. Jeffrey) Samuels; grandchildren, Emily Dellheim and Lilli Dellheim; sister-in-law, Betty Getz (late Harvey) Morgenstein. He was predeceased by his parents, Max and Pauline Krawitz.

Irv was a proud veteran of World War II. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1945, and served on a destroyer escort in the Pacific, and on Guam. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1952. For the next fifty years, he greatly enjoyed his work with patients and professional associations. His professional passions included innovation, continuing education, and practice management. He loved movies, music, history, traveling, the ocean, and gatherings with friends. He was an avid Colts and Ravens fan. Most of all, he loved his family.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, December 5th, 2021 at 1:30 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the charity of your choice. Virtual shiva will be held on Monday, December 6, at 7 pm.
