Irving Walanka, 77; beloved husband of the late Karen nee Pierce for 46 wonderful years; loving father of Elizabeth; devoted son of the late Emanuel and Bessie. Irv was a passionate supporter and volunteer for NECHAMA-Jewish Response To Disaster. He was treasured by many, especially his Moriah community and will be deeply missed by all. Graveside service Wednesday, 12:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
