Obituary
Ira Steven Reisman, age 60, of Arlington Heights, grew up in DesPlaines and graduated from Maine East High School; beloved son of Robert “Bob” and Edna (nee Jacobson) Reisman; loving brother of Terri (Bruce) Mason and Alan (Sue) Reisman; cherished uncle of Rachel (Lee) Hillman, Eric (Bari) Mason, Melissa, Danielle, and Samantha Reisman; dear great uncle of Logan Hillman; treasured nephew, cousin, and friend to many. The Reisman Family wishes to give a special thank you to the loyal and kind friends who stayed in touch with Ira throughout the years.
Ira followed his passion for cars as he became a certified mechanic moving up to service manager and even owning his own shop. He loved his dog, Scooby, and continued his love for anyone’s dog he came in contract with. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and used to really enjoy golfing. Ira was very witty, kind, and generous and loved nothing more than to find the humor in the mundane.
Memorial Service Sunday, 12 Noon CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Ira’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. The shiva will immediately follow the service in the adjacent chapel at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
