Obituary

Harvey L. Goldberg, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 8, 2022; beloved husband and best friend of Geri nee' Prosk for 65 wonderful years; loving father of Marla, Donna (Jeffery) Hersh and Jack (Susan); cherished "Poppi" of Juliana (Howard) Abrams, Jordan (Stephanie Kurensky) Hersh, Max and Terry Goldberg; adored great grandfather of Sadie Dove Abrams and much loved brother of Elaine Lauter. Harvey graduated from Drake University in 1955. Michigan City is a special place where Harvey spent youthful summers and later met Geri, whom he married three years later. He was a Navy man who prided himself as a professional Registered Pharmacist. Harvey was a dear and cherished friend who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to CJE Senior Life (www.cje.net/donate) or JNF Trees in Israel (http://usa.jnf.org/jnf-tree-planting-center/) would be greatly appreciated. Graveside service, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Park.
