Obituary

Harold Z. Rodin, 95, WWII veteran. Husband for 51 wonderful years to the late Shirley nee Marmor. Devoted partner for the last 25 years to Esther Silberman. Loving father of Curt (Linda) Rodin and Nancy (Stephen) Zabrin. Adoring grandfather of Joshua (Jill) Rodin, Aimee (Bradley) Lerner, Gayle Shifrin, and Kyle (Hailee) Zabrin. Very proud Papa Harold to 10 great-grandchildren. Died January 26,2023. Harold and Shirley started Equipment International Ltd in 1964 and the business is now in its third generation. Harold lived for his family and cherished every member. He was an avid golfer who shot his age or better over 200 times and had 9 holes in one-the last one when he was 94. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, luriechildrens.org or the American Cancer Society, cancer.org. Graveside service, Wednesday, 11 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Private family shiva.
