Gary Chroman, 74, beloved husband and best friend of Judi, nee Parker for nearly 50 years; loving father of Blake (Jill) and Russell (Alison); cherished Papa of Haley, Olivia, Chloe, Chase, and Kendall; caring brother of Todd (Candy) Chroman and the late Sheila Belonsky (Tom) Gorny; devoted son of the late Philip and the late Lorraine (the late Mel) Bahr; dear uncle and friend to many. Gary was the long-time owner of New York Kosher Grocery Store and Deli on Devon in Chicago and vendor for CPS. Chapel service Tuesday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (mda.org).
