Obituary

Ellen M. Falk of Denver, Colorado (formally of Baltimore, Maryland), passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 61. She is survived by her beloved husband, Stewart Falk; son and daughter-in-law Jonathan (Ruby) Falk; grandchildren, Georgia and Nora; sisters, Francine Zimmerman, Ilene Verovsky and Jody Maier (Steven) Troy; sisters-in-law, Resa Johnson and Beth Berman; and many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, Kurt and Adele Maier; and brothers-in-law, Ronald G. Verovsky and James Johnson.

Ellen was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and an amazing sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten, living in our hearts and minds forever.

Ellen’s graveside funeral service will take place at 10:00 am MT (12 Noon EST) on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Mt. Nebo in Aurora, Colorado. The funeral services will be live-streamed on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube Channel.

Shiva services will be 6 pm MT (8:00 pm EST), Monday 4/12/21 through Thursday 4/15/21 at Jonathan and Ruby Falk’s Home. There will be daily shiva hours on zoom from 1-3pm MT and in-person from 3:00 pm MT to 7:00 pm MT at Ruby and Jon’s home. The prayer services (minyans) in the evening will be both in person and over zoom at 6pm MT (8:00 pm EST). Sunday, 4/18/21, there will be a final in-person (hopefully outside) morning service at 9:00 am (EST) at Jody and Steven Troy’s home, 22 Sugarvale Way, Lutherville, Maryland, 21093. Ellen’s sisters will be sitting shiva at Jody’s house from 8:00 am to Noon (EST) that morning and visitors are welcome.
