Obituary
Elaine Sweet, nee Hoffman, 86 of Skokie passed away on Thanksgiving 11/25/2021 at 12:30 AM in the comfort of her home. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Morris; devoted sister of the late Louis Hoffman; loving aunt of Steven (Heather) and Chris Hoffman; wonderful great aunt of Eli and Jonah Hoffman. Elaine graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelors of Science in Education and Master of Arts. Elaine worked as a teacher for the Chicago Public Schools at Chopin Elementary for 33 years. Elaine loved to travel all over the world, shop and eat cookies and ice cream. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ketura Hadassah (www.hadassah.org/region/chicago-north-shore) would be greatly appreciated.
