Obituary
Elaine Price, 76, Chicago, IL passed away April 4, 2023, peacefully at home attended by loved ones.
Elaine was born in Blue Island, IL. After college, she travelled to Europe intending to return in a few weeks. Instead she fell in love with Europe and travel and spent a number of years living in Rome and London. After returning to the States she found her dream job as a flight attendant for American Airlines, enjoying international travel. She retired after 44 years following a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. For ten years she fought the disease and inspired many with her unfailing optimism and relentless determination to live life to the fullest. Generous with her kindness, she also volunteered at the Lakeview Pantry and the Ronald McDonald House. Her family and hundreds of friends will sorely miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Edith Price and brothers Larry, Ronald and Douglas Price.
A future Celebration of Elaine’s Life is being planned for a Chicago location, date to be determined.
