Donald B. Arnold, 84.

Beloved partner of Dale Mendelsohn and the late Janet Crane. Loving father of Richard Arnold, Julie Arnold and the late Jodi Rhodes. Proud grandfather of Joshua Rhodes, Brett Rhodes and Jared Rhodes. Special father of Pamela (Mark) Gold. Dear brother of the late Melodee Arnold. Son of the late Ruth and Louis Arnold. Fond uncle of Dr. Tara Arnold-Lal and cousin of Claudia (Gary) Mundinger. Donald was a Proud Veteran in the US ARMY. Don was a hairdresser for over 50 years, known as “Hair by Don”. He made the Northshore more beautiful. His lust for life for will be missed by those who loved him, his family, and many friends. Graveside service Thursday 10:30AM at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery, (Section 12C), 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 10393, Chicago, IL 60610, www.cancer.org.
