Obituary

Diane Schwartz, 85

Diane Schwartz (nee) Landinguin, beloved wife of Charles for 49 years, loving mother of Rebecca Lasky (Ira), Dan Leman (Cathy), Guy Warner and Bruce Warner (Marybeth) and daughter-in-law Debbie Nelson. Loving sister of Eileen DeFrenza. Treasured grandmother to Spencer (Kate), Dustin (Leah), Zoe, Brandon and Sheridan (Sam), Joshua and proud great-grandmother of Will, Charlie, Sammy, Gigi and Bennett. Pre-deceased by her parents Evelyn and Pablo Landinguin, and two brothers Don and Ray. Diane retired from a 30-year career with Gateway Foundation helping people recover from addiction, and in her later years, enjoyed substitute teaching. She will always be remembered for her sharp wit, honesty and independent spirit. She loved hosting her beautiful, multi-cultural family for the holidays, zealously cheering at her grandchildren’s sporting activities, gambling with her sister Eileen in Las Vegas, and snuggling with her adopted dog Rascal. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the chapel service will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gateway Foundation; www.gatewayfoundation.org.
