Daniel Mark Knopoff, age 70, of South Elgin, beloved husband and best friend for 41 years of Kathleen, nee Ryon; loving father of Leslie Knopoff; devoted son of the late Arthur and the late Bertha “Berte”; cherished brother of Jack (Caron) Knopoff; dear son-in-law of Molly and the late James Ryon; fond brother-in-law of Debbie (Mickey) Jones and Nancy (Frank) Canalas; treasured uncle and friend to many. Dan was extremely calm and kind. He had a special way of making everyone feel good in his presence. The graveside service will be private.
