Obituary

Bunny Goodman nee Wainer, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 16th, 2021, at her home in Glenview, IL.

Born on February 26, 1929, in Chicago, IL, Bunny lived a full and happy life always surrounded by family, friends, and friends whom she considered family.

Bunny loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and 8 plus great grandchildren. She was an avid bridge player and loved by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Bunny was wise and warm, with a quick wit and beautiful, soft, caring words. Her loving advice, affectionately known as "Bunnyisms" will be passed along for many generations to come. She had a keen sense of knowing when she was needed most and touched many lives with her generosity and thoughtfulness towards others. Even those who were not related felt as if she were in some ways their mother as well.

Bunny was married to the late Alvin for 48 years. She was a loving mother of Bruce (Denyse) Goodman, Cathy (Mark) Robbins, Kim (Marc) Schwartz and Scott Goodman (Lisa); cherished Nana Bunny of Marni (Brian), Jordan (Courtney), Jeffrey (Erin), Jori (Greg), Brett (Jade), Abby (Chad), Kari (Noah), Chad (Brielle), Spencer, Lani (Steve), Sam and Alex; adored great grandmother; friend and companion of the late Alan Rubens; loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Private graveside service. Please attend via livestream, Tuesday 2 PM.
