Obituary

Berchie Perlman, 95, beloved husband of Terri nee Sangerman for 56 wonderful years; loving father of Julie (Garry) Benjoya; cherished Papa of Max Haid and Lexi Haid; devoted son of the late Anna and Louis Perlman; dear brother of the late Grace (the late Abe) Kelner, Sophie (the late Sam) Lenik and Shelly Perlman (Alice Perlman Krause); adored brother-in-law of Jeff (Ilene) Sangerman; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Berchie was a proud Army veteran. He served two tours during the Korean War. Berchie was a jeweler for over 65 dedicated years, most of which were at Port Clinton Jewelers of Highland Park. He was a lifelong Cubs fan, and his greatest joy was his family.
