Obituary

Ann Gershenow 95, née Mendelson, beloved wife of the late Morton Gershenow; loving aunt of Nancy (William) Bodle, Susan (Patrick) Hart, Michael (Helen) and Walter (Kiko) Wanger; cherished great-aunt of Deborah (Jack), Walter (Taylor), Rebecca (Zachary), Kathryrn (Brian), William (Alison), Tyler, Christopher, Aaron, Max, Shoko, Katie, Emily, Jonathan and the late Anthony; dear cousin of Susan Ellis and Jill Green; Ann also had a close group of friends who will miss her very much. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Linda Paderna for her care and dedication. Ann was a dedicated teacher for many years. She loved taking care of others which inspired her passion for doing community service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Memorial service Friday, February 17, 2023, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
