Anne B. Nadler, nee Africk, a remarkable 103 years old, of Northbrook, formerly of Glenview; beloved wife for 63 years of the late Sol S. Nadler; loving mother of Edward (Susan) Nadler and Fern (Dr. Michael) Ellison; adored grandmother of Ellen Brown, Michael (Carol) Nadler, Julie (David) Richman, Daniel (Natalie) Nadler, Dana (Robert) Mitchell and Richard Ellison; proud great grandmother of Jacob, Haley, Samuel, Ari, Eva, Noah, Melanie, Elizabeth, Brooke, and Benjamin; devoted daughter of the late Max and the late Rose (Silverman) Africk; dear sister of the late Hyman (late Lenore) Africk and the late Sol (late Ruth) Africk; cherished aunt, great aunt, and friend to many. Anne was the true matriarch of her family; they were the center of her universe. She was thoughtful, kind, proper, and fair. Her passions included traveling, cruising and gardening. Service Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at the Northbrook Community Synagogue, 2548 Jasper Court, Northbrook. The service will be livestreamed on Anne’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northbrook Community Synagogue, www.ncshul.com or Congregation Beth Shalom, www.bethshalomnb.org.
