Anne B. Nadler, nee Africk, a remarkable 103 years old, of Northbrook, formerly of Glenview; beloved wife for 63 years of the late Sol S. Nadler; loving mother of Edward (Susan) Nadler and Fern (Dr. Michael) Ellison; adored grandmother of Ellen Brown, Michael (Carol) Nadler, Julie (David) Richman, Daniel (Natalie) Nadler, Dana (Robert) Mitchell and Richard Ellison; proud great grandmother of Jacob, Haley, Samuel, Ari, Eva, Noah, Melanie, Elizabeth, Brooke, and Benjamin; devoted daughter of the late Max and the late Rose (Silverman) Africk; dear sister of the late Hyman (late Lenore) Africk and the late Sol (late Ruth) Africk; cherished aunt, great aunt, and friend to many. Anne was the true matriarch of her family; they were the center of her universe. She was thoughtful, kind, proper, and fair. Her passions included traveling, cruising and gardening. Service Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at the Northbrook Community Synagogue, 2548 Jasper Court, Northbrook. The service will be livestreamed on Anne’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
