Alice R. Bloom, nee Helfgott, age 96, beloved wife of the late Sidney Bloom; loving mother of Dr. Robert (Judy) Bloom and the late Penny Bloom; adored grandmother of Zachary (Jessica) Bloom, Molly (Zachary) Gale, and the late Rachel Bloom; proud great grandmother of Rylan and Nyomi; devoted daughter of the late Maurice and the late Shirley Helfgott; cherished sister of Ruth (late Sheldon) Robinson and the late Norman (late Jen) Helfgott; treasured aunt and friend to many. Alice was a Life Master bridge player, a voracious reader, and had an excellent vocabulary. The graveside service and shiva will be private. The service will be livestreamed Tuesday (today), 1:00 p.m. CST at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
