Alan Mogilner, 81, beloved husband of Lynda, nee Hoff; loving father of Geoffrey (Ellie) Mogilner, Rachael (Michael) Scherer, and the late Jayson (Jamie) Mogilner; adored grandfather of Max, Aaron, Evan, Benjamin, and Nathan Mogilner and Robert and Matthew Scherer; devoted son of the late Charles and Shirley; treasured son-in-law of Sara and the late Stanley Hoff; caring brother of Joyce (Fred) Marcus and Carole Gans; dear uncle, cousin, and friend. Chapel service Friday 12:15 PM, January 13, 2023, at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern (feinberg.northwestern.edu/sites/brain-tumor/donate/index.html) or The Michael J.
