June Arlene Blackman, 89, beloved wife and best friend of Alvin "Al" Blackman for 68 wonderful years; loving and devoted mother of David (Patricia), Karen (Robert) Kaplan, Lauren (Jeffrey) Gould, and Debra (Brian) Weinberg; cherished grandma of Carolyn (Andrew) Gasbarra, Michelle (Justin) Sandy, Mark Blackman, Arielle (the late Shawn) Gilley, Sasha (Andreas) Papazafeiropoulos, Alec Gould, Noah Gould, Blair Weinberg and Morgan Weinberg; adored great-grandmother, "Grandma June" of Grace, Anna, Erik, and Penelope; sister of Herbert (Babe) Wolfson. Chapel service Friday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
