Obituary

I.J. "Jack" Adatto, MD, 90,beloved husband and best friend of Tobey, nee Heackley, for 69 wonderful years; loving father of Steven Adatto (Penny Simmons and the late Corinne Bronson-Adatto), Nancy (Roger) Weiss, the late Jeffrey Adatto and loving father-in-law of Lisa Adatto, cherished Papoo of Marielle Adatto, Colette Adatto, Zachary Weiss, Justin Weiss, Daniel (Mari) Adatto, and Suzanne Adatto; adored Great Papoo of Iris Adatto; devoted son of the late Sophie and Leon Adatto; dear brother of the late Lorraine Weis; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Jack was a lifelong scholar and student of medicine, science and the arts. He was devoted to his family and community, a mentor and a teacher to many. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association (webchicago.alsa.org) or Amyloidosis Foundation (amyloidosis.org). Private funeral service has been held.
