Burton Shepard, age 88, beloved husband of the late Corinne Shepard, happily married for 49 years; devoted and loving companion of Jean Petersen for the past 18 years; loving father of Gerald (Marlene) Shepard, Sharon (William Brucker) Black Jr, Alan (Susan Nussbaum) Shepard and the late Helene Shepard; dear second father to Linda (Gibson) Arlasky, Michael (Elizabeth) Petersen and Thomas (Barbara) Petersen; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Michael), Deborah, Cheryl, Sara Lee (John), Bennett, Eric, Jennie, Gibson Jr., Henry, Jason, Tom, Tina, Daniel, David and Robert; adored great-grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Alyssa, Abbey, Bella and Mila; dear brother of the late Sidney (the late Gloria), the late Doris and the late Marvin (Jackie) Shepard; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chapel service Monday, October 28, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park.
