Obituary
Lee “Buzzy” Lippman, age 85, of Chicago; Buzzy was friends with everyone and had a magnanimous personality and contagious smile. He was an honorable man who had the highest level of ethics with a lot of integrity and walked the walk to always do what is right. Buzzy was a natural leader who was President of Phi Epsilon Pi Fraternity at University of Illinois, President of Ketchum/Mandabach & Simms Advertising Agency, Northbrook Park District Commissioner and Hall of Fame Recipient for his volunteer work, President of Ravinia Green CC and Chairman of Cancer Wellness Center. He was an avid golfer at Troon CC in Arizona and loved playing golf with his son Todd at Merit Club. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army; beloved husband of Wendy Rubin and the late Nancy Chatz Lippman; loving father of Sydnei (David) Kaplan and Todd (Jacquie) Lippman; cherished stepfather of Danny (Debi) Rubin and Nancy (Kevin) Tassone; adored grandfather of Ben, Mia, Claudia, Juliet, Lola, Mack, Avery, Cooper, and Cameron; devoted son of the late David and the late Dorothy Lippman; dear brother of Iris (Melvin) Smith and the late Ann (late Seymour) Goldman; treasured uncle and friend of many. Graveside service Thursday, 9:00 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Section Eastlake, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
