Obituary

Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Solomon, age 82, he was a pioneer and on the cutting edge of the fresh produce industry, as the owner of Irv Solomon & Son Quality Wholesale Produce. The company is now under the direction of his son, Mark, who stated, “his Dad was the best boss a son could ever work for.” Ronnie was the beloved husband for 47 wonderful years of the late Margo Solomon, nee Swerdlow; dedicated and loving father and mentor of Mara and Jon Sabath and Mark and Kim Solomon; most adored Papa of Ilissa (Justin) Sylvan, Stephanie Sabath, Ilana and Evan Solomon; proud “Papa Cook” of Cole and Luke Sylvan; devoted son of the late Irving “Izzy” and the late Eleanor Solomon. Graveside service Wednesday, 12 Noon at Westlawn Cemetery, Westlake Section, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
