Lowell H. Goone, age 88, beloved husband for 67 years of Rita, nee Toibin; loving father of Dr. Michael (Linda), David (Laura), Robert (Sharon) and Lisa (Jimmy Hosfield) Palmer; cherished Papa of Alex (Hannah), Adam, Aaron (Cheree), Ellie (Jordan), Sarah, Maddie, Hannah, Natalie and Audree; proud great-grandfather of Benjamin, Gabriel and Abraham; devoted son of the late Meyer and late Muriel, dear brother of the late Norman (late Patricia); adoring uncle of Marla, Mitchell, Jay, Stacy, Richard, Kelsey, Jordan, Dylan and Meredith. Lowell was an amazing man, who had a wonderful sense of humor and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. He loved playing with and spoiling all of his grandchildren and will be deeply missed by us all. The family is extremely grateful for all of the caregivers who took care of Lowell during the last few years. Graveside service Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
