Joan “Joni” Kreger, nee Franklin, age 83, of Skokie, beloved wife for 58 years of the late Elwood “Woody” Kreger; loving mother of Mitchell (Bobbi) Kreger, Mark (fiancée Glenda Boughan) Kreger, and Shari (Chris) Ribordy; cherished mother-in-law of the late Robyn Kreger; adored grandma of Ilana, Ethan, and Emmett; devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Rose Franklin; dear sister-in-law of Donald (Vicki) Kreger; treasured aunt and friend to many. Joni loved to travel, especially cruises, with Woody and their friends. She made friendships wherever she went. She loved to cook and enjoyed mah-jongg. Graveside service Friday, 1:30 p.m. CT at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
