Madeline Shiffman, (née Brodsky), born September 16, 1924 in Chicago Illinois; beloved wife of the late Max Shiffman; loving mother of Karen Shiffman and Joel (Nancy) Shiffman; adored grandmother of Jennie (De) Lai and Sean (Elizabeth Gonzalez) Shiffman; proud great grandmother of Jake, Emma, Andres, and Ananda; devoted daughter of the late Dora and the late Sam Brodsky; cherished sister of Myrna (Shael) Siegel and the late Sidney (Meryl) Brodsky; treasured aunt and friend to many. Madeline was fortunate to have lived a life filled with a multitude of interests. She lived her entire life within five miles of where she was born. Service Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. CT at West Suburban Temple Har Zion, 1040 N. Harlem Avenue, River Forest. The interment will be private. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
