Ella Jean Sloan, nee Mass, age 93, of Deerfield; beloved wife for 58 years of the late Bernard Sloan; loving mother of Marla Sloan Starkopf; Dr. Marc (Marcia) Sloan, Dr. Eric “Rick” (Bonnie) Sloan, and Dean Sloan; adored Nana of Scott (Stephanie) and Brett (Risa) Starkopf, Cori, Andrew, and Annie Sloan, Brian, Matthew, Alex (Lindsay), and Alyssa Sloan; proud great Nana of Spencer; dear sister of the late Rochelle (late Dr. Perry) Lerner; fond sister-in-law of Arthur Sloan; treasured aunt and friend to many.
