Michael Keith “Mike” Silber, age 74, of Buffalo Grove; beloved husband of Linda Silber, nee Nixon; loving father of Hilary (Dan) Davis and Alison (Steve) Greenspan; adored Grumpy of Sarina, Hailey, and Ella; devoted son of the late Harold and the late Mary Silber; cherished brother of Linda Karol and the late Barbara Chernoff; dear brother-in-law of Susan (Hon. George) Van Dusen and Bruce (Alma) Nixon; adored uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Mike was a Chicago Cubs enthusiast and golf ball thief. We will miss his sarcastic sense of humor, dancing, sense of adventure, mischievousness, and intense love for his family. His grandchildren were the center of his universe. Service Monday, 2:15 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
