Obituary

Susan Alberts nee Weinstein, age 71, beloved daughter of the late Ann and Charles of Flint, Michigan, adored wife of Barry and loving mother of Jaime, on Dec. 4 at 5 pm Eastern. Susie was originally a social worker at the first abortion clinic in Illinois, and later became devoted to facilitating healthy child development through Feldenkrais and Childspace. A lover of books, poetry, art and music, she was passionate about time in nature, travel, and relationships with family and dear friends. Susie was a beacon of light and joy, who danced to the beat of her own drummer and touched innumerable lives. Her body is gone but her love is not. Service Friday, 1 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
