Barb Alper, nee Kolb, age 73, of Lincolnwood, beloved wife and best friend for 52 years of Sandy Alper; loving mother of Preston (Lorene) Alper, Eric (Jennifer) Alper, Dayna (Ryan) Schooley, and Brad (Pamela) Alper; adored Bubbie of Tyler, Carson, Loriel, Noah, Max, Eli, Austin, Zack, Kyle, Derek, Quinn, Tommy, and Rae; devoted daughter of the late Phillip and the late Selma Kolb; cherished sister of Cissy (Terry) Roberts and the late Allen (late Eydie) Kolb and the late Gary Kolb; treasured aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Barb could light up a room with her smile. She made everyone feel special and loved. Most of all, her family was the center of her universe. Service Tuesday, 12 Noon CT at The Skokie Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
