Barb Alper, nee Kolb, age 73, of Lincolnwood, beloved wife and best friend for 52 years of Sandy Alper; loving mother of Preston (Lorene) Alper, Eric (Jennifer) Alper, Dayna (Ryan) Schooley, and Brad (Pamela) Alper; adored Bubbie of Tyler, Carson, Loriel, Noah, Max, Eli, Austin, Zack, Kyle, Derek, Quinn, Tommy, and Rae; devoted daughter of the late Phillip and the late Selma Kolb; cherished sister of Cissy (Terry) Roberts and the late Allen (late Eydie) Kolb and the late Gary Kolb; treasured aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Barb could light up a room with her smile. She made everyone feel special and loved. Most of all, her family was the center of her universe.
