Obituary

Elaine Renee Sussman, nee Glickman, age 83, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Skokie, IL; beloved wife for 59 years of Earl Sussman; loving mother of Richard “RJ” (Diana) Sussman and Jessica (Gary) Barr; adored grandma of Peter, Juliana, Joy, Jenna, and Madison; devoted daughter of the late Albert and the late Violet Glickman; cherished sister of Sheldon (late Barbara) Glickman; treasured aunt of Gayle (Adam Satcowitz) Glickman and Robert Glickman and great aunt to their children; special friend to many. Throughout her life she was passionate about helping others and generously supported causes that improved the lives of children. She loved cinema and in her free time you could always find her watching movies, especially those with happy endings. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family members. Graveside service Friday, 11:00 a.m. CT at Waldheim Cemetery, Anshe Maariv, Gate 9, on Des Plaines Ave., just south of Roosevelt Rd., Forest Park. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Under Recent Services, click onto Elaine’s photograph and scroll down to Service Details to view her service.
