Obituary
Jack Dissen, age 95, loving husband of the late Marge (nee Goodman) for 53 years and devoted significant other to Elaine Trotter for 19 years; wonderful father to his sons Mike (Laurie Garrett) Deeson and Rick (Robin) Dissen; adored Papa to Sara (Matt) Warshauer, Gayle Dissen, Andrew (Tina Gelman) Deeson, and Megan (Eric White) Deeson; proud great grandfather to Ariana White, Rachel Warshauer, Tessa Warshauer, and Carter White. Jack had a very special relationship with Elaine’s children, Dr. David (Joanne) Trotter and Jeff (Lisa) Trotter and their children, Elliot, Josh, and Max. Jack was very close to his brother, the late Irv (late Thelma) Dissen, and his sister, the late Lil (late Sid) Sall. Jack was in the wholesale food business his entire life, starting with the family business, Chicago Smoked Fish, until it was sold to Vita Foods. He remained with Vita for many years until he moved to David Berg & Co. Special thanks to his caregivers, Jackie, Sandra, Michelle and Ava. The graveside service will be private due to the pandemic.
