Phillip Marvin Lapine, age 89, of Northbrook, beloved husband for 47 years of Lois, nee Krakow; loving father of Amy Lapine; cherished stepfather of the late Sherri (Wally) Urbanowski and the late Michael (Judy) Leff; adored grandfather of Jori and Sara Wineburgh, Scott Urbanowski, Emily, Zach, and Cody Leff; dear brother of Lorraine Baim; fond brother-in-law of Helene (Miles) Beermann; treasured uncle of Michael (Rebecca) Baim, Kimberly (Tal) Pendo, Laura (Scott) Goldberg, Mark (Missy) Goldstein and great uncle to their children. Phillip had such a great positive attitude toward life, he definitely saw the world through rose colored glasses. His sense of humor and great memory was legendary.
