Phillip Marvin Lapine, age 89, of Northbrook, beloved husband for 47 years of Lois, nee Krakow; loving father of Amy Lapine; cherished stepfather of the late Sherri (Wally) Urbanowski and the late Michael (Judy) Leff; adored grandfather of Jori and Sara Wineburgh, Scott Urbanowski, Emily, Zach, and Cody Leff; dear brother of Lorraine Baim; fond brother-in-law of Helene (Miles) Beermann; treasured uncle of Michael (Rebecca) Baim, Kimberly (Tal) Pendo, Laura (Scott) Goldberg, Mark (Missy) Goldstein and great uncle to their children. The graveside service will be private. The service will be livestreamed Friday, 3:00 p.m. CST at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Phillip had such a great positive attitude toward life, he definitely saw the world through rose colored glasses. His sense of humor and great memory was legendary. Phillip’s lighthearted nature and calm demeanor made everyone feel good. He will be dearly missed and loved by his entire family.
