Obituary

Melvin A. Korman, age 95, of Northbrook, beloved husband and best friend for 68 years of Barbara, nee Lustig; loving father of Jeffrey Korman, David Korman, and Lori (Cary) Jozefiak; adored grandpa of Kimberly, Jaclyn, Charlie, Zoe, and Ellie; proud great grandfather of one; devoted son of the late Joseph and the late Ida Korman; treasured friend to many. Mel was a voracious reader and will be remembered for his fabulous sense of humor and love of Chicago sports, hot dogs, and anything chocolate. He was a real mensch and truly a nice guy. The graveside service and shiva will be private. The service will be livestreamed Monday, 11:00 a.m. CST at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
