Obituary

Stephen G. Katz, 71, of Barrington, passed away on January 21, 2021. Born in Marinette, Wisconsin, to Irving and Lena (Meyer) Katz, Steve was a lifelong Badger. He was the dear husband and partner of Barbara Buhai for 36 years and the treasured father of Nathaniel (Karen) Katz and Lily Katz. He is lovingly survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Amy Katz; his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Betsy (Charles) Zeifman and Liz (George) Buhai-Jacobus; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew. Steve was a talented labor and employment attorney, who zealously represented his clients for 45 years. He was passionate about politics, Russian history and the Green Bay Packers, and he had a wonderful sense of humor. The service and shiva will be private.
