Obituary

Sandra J. “Sandy” Levy, nee Leibovitz, age 84, of Northbrook, formerly of Des Plaines; beloved wife and best friend for almost 63 years of Martin “Marty” Levy; loving mother of Jerry (Kimberley) Levy and Merle Levy; adored Grandma Sandy of Courtney (Zach) Kulig, Mackenzie Levy, and Cassidy Levy; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and the late Helen Leibovitz; sister of the late Barbara (Zack) Adler; treasured friend to many. Founding member and Vice-President of the Maine Township Jewish Congregation Sisterhood. Sandy and Marty met through the B’nai Brith Youth Organization (BBYO). The graveside service will be private. The service will be livestreamed Monday, 12:30 p.m. CST at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Under Recent Services, click on Sandy’s photo and scroll down to Service Details to view the service. The livestream will be up 15 minutes prior to the service. There will be an outdoor minyan service Monday thru Thursday, 6:30 p.m. at Northbrook Community Synagogue, 2548 Jasper Court, Northbrook, IL 60062.
