Abe Schneider - a man who devoted his life to the happiness of his family.
Abe died peacefully on September 24, 2020 at his home in New Hyde Park, NY at the age of 88. Abe is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Miriam and her husband Marc, Judy and her husband Alan; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Bethany, Mollie, Dylan and Jacqueline. He is also survived by his sister Francis. Abe was born on February 5, 1932 in Manhattan, NY to Mollie and David Schneider. Abe married Diane his life long sweetheart in 1956. His children and grandchildren remember him for the positive impact he made on people’s lives with his smile that lit up the room and easy going, fun loving and unassuming nature. A graveside funeral was held at 1:30 PM on September 25, 2020 with the immediate family at Mt. Hebron, Flushing, NY.
