David Kost

Loving husband of the late Zelda Kost. Devoted father of Jeffrey (Jamie) Kost, Jerald (Missy) Kost and the late Ruth (Ronald) Pollakov. Proud grandfather, great grandfather and Uncle of many. Cherished son of the late Stella and the late Joseph Kost. Dear brother of the late Harold (the late Jean) Kost and the late Paul (Marion) Kost. Grew up on the west side of Chicago and raised his family in Skokie. World War II decorated veteran, fought as an infantryman at the Battle of the Bulge. Graduate in Economics from Roosevelt University. Owned Kost Brothers Grocery with his brothers on the west side of Chicago. Owner and operator of the Pit ‘N Pub Restaurant in Arlington Heights and Dogs Plus in Chicago. His easy disposition, great wit and sense of humor always made you smile. The interment service has been held.
