Judith Bolnick Brody age 86, formerly of Glencoe

Beloved wife of the late Stanton Wolf Brody. Dear mother of Michael (Anne) Brody of Chicago, Deborah Brody (Tim) Britton and the late Marion Brody ( Edward ) Kelly, both of Winston-Salem, NC. Loving grandmother of Joseph Stanton Kelly, Clare Webber Brody and Grace Webber Brody. She is preceded in death by her parents Morris Bolnick and Anne Snyder Bolnick and by her brother Robert Bolnick. Graduate of Von Steuben High School and Barat College. Longtime member and past Vice President of Congregation Solel in Highland Park, past President of the Great Lakes Region of the Union for Reform Judaism, and volunteer in the Art Institute of Chicago's Print and Drawing Department. Passionate about fine arts, Reform Judaism, and a well-crafted narrative, whether a novel, a movie, a Sondheim musical or a well told anecdote. Judy liked nothing better than time spent with family and friends sharing good food and stimulating conversation, unless it was a day spent at home in the company of her beloved Stan. Her friends were friends for life. She will be missed by her family, including a niece, nephews, numerous cousins, friends of her children and children of her friends.

Graveside Service. Monday 2PM at Shalom Memorial Park (Section IV Carmel), 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.

Interment. Shalom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, 60601, www.alz.org.
